Cyber Square AI textbook: Minister for IT received the book in a function


Kozhikode: The Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajiv Chandrasekhar received a copy of the book on artificial intelligence prepared by Cyber Square for high school students in a function held at Kozhikode.

Cyber Square, an edtech firm, released the book for CBSE class 9 and 10 students. As per the new education policy, the study of artificial intelligence is compulsory in classes 9 and 10. “Hence the founders
invested time and skill in preparing a detailed and updated version of AI basics for the students”, said the officials from Cyber Square.They also pointed out, “”The textbook focuses not only on basics of
AI, but also on practical use of AI in daily life,”.

The book was handed over at an interaction event with the minister along with the companies that had successfully come out of the National Institute of Technology- Calicut’s incubation center. The Cyber Square team also pointed out that the publication of the book is a breakthrough as it takes AI technology out of the ‘ivory tower’ and makes it part of high school learning.

Baabte, who started as a start-up at NIT’s Technology Business Incubator, has been forcusing on the IT education sector for the past five years. As many as 50,000 students have acquired knowledge from the BAABTE’s cyberspace. Earlier, the organization had made a place in the Guinness World Records by building 2803 websites in collaboration with Habitats School in UAE. Cyber Square provides training to students in coding, artificial intelligence, robotics and IoT. Cyber
Square is the first edtech institute to start coding from Grade 1 onwards. Cyber Square also features the first AI lab in a school in
the UAE and the first IT Company to make AI a part of the curriculum from Grade 2 onwards.
